Pour Decisions operates as a DBA of the nonprofit Salad Bowl America Cultural Foundation, whose mission is rooted in one simple belief: our differences should give us reasons to learn from one another, not divide us.

Our mission is to Recognize, Understand and Respect all cultures while creating opportunities for young adults to discover the value of their own culture, identity, voice and creativity.

Through Salad Bowl America Cultural Foundation, we provide young adults with a platform to express their culture through creative means including photography, writing, journalism, videography, art, fashion, music, culinary arts and other forms of cultural storytelling.

But we do not want creativity to stop with expression. We want young creatives to understand that their talent has value. Our programs help participants move from creativity to entrepreneurship by learning how to develop their work, build a personal or professional brand, understand the business behind their craft and ultimately learn how to monetize what they create.

A Self-Sustaining Mission

Salad Bowl America Cultural Foundation is building a financially self-sustaining nonprofit model. Rather than depending solely on donations, grants and traditional fundraising, we create our own revenue avenues to help fund and grow our mission. Pour Decisions is one of those revenue avenues.

A portion of Pour Decisions memberships, products sold, events and other revenue-generating activities helps support the mission and programming of Salad Bowl America Cultural Foundation. When someone becomes a member, purchases a product or participates in a Pour Decisions experience, they are helping us invest in opportunities for the next generation of creatives.

Our goal is simple: generate revenue, reinvest it into the mission and create opportunities for young adults to turn their creativity into economic opportunity. Pour Decisions brings adults together through culture, conversation and community while helping create resources that allow our nonprofit mission to continue growing.
